Using Saunas For Youthful Skin & Hair

Wednesday, September 26th, 2007

I have to say that I’ve had comments over the past few months that tell me the proof is in the pudding.  I’ve had several folks think I’m in my mid 30’s.  Not one to seek compliments by asking, I can only surmise that using the hcg protocol and doing regular cardio and weight lifting for several years has turned back the physical time clock….I’m not going to say I won’t drop dead tomorrow:) but we’re talking about anti aging which generally translates to looking your best.

Besides losing the weight and now within 8 lbs of my college days (over 30 years ago) and a 32″ waist  I find that using the dry sauna works wonders for skin.  The sport clubs at 24 hour have them along with the steam rooms which are also great.  I put some coconut oil on my hair with water…going into dry sauna with a heavy oil on hair can get pretty hot so water down a bit.  This promotes youthful looking hair and the dry  sauna opens the pores in skin.  Stay in for about 5-10 minutes and go take a cold shower and return…repeat three times and you’re done.  You will feel refreshed with radiant skin and healthy looking hair…not to mention the detoxification of your system

Anti Aging Skin Care Treatments

Science has made it possible for almost anyone to find the most proper anti aging skin care treatment to match one’s skin type and preferences. The only condition for the success of an anti aging skin care treatment is that you support it by the appropriate diet and lots of physical exercises. There have been lots of studies to find out which is the best remedy to fight body decay produced by age, and the results have revealed that there are many great remedies particularly in the natural world that provide rejuvenating solutions and great formulas for an ever younger skin.

First on the list of ingredients of anti aging skin care treatments is collagen followed by CoQ10 with a great impact on the regeneration of tissues and the recovering of skin elasticity. Statistics show that the products based on these two elements enjoy the highest appreciation on the market and the most encouraging of results. Collagen in association with calendula and chamomile extracts are of great help in the fight against skin damage as they act on the deep skin layers where the deterioration process begins. Thus it is a matter of stimulating the body’s natural reaction and triggering healing.

Many anti aging skin care treatments include essential oils such as coconut or sea thornbuckle oils with a powerful moisturizing and antioxidant effect. Creams with a high oily content are best used for dry skin and as part of the night beauty care, since during the resting hours the skin stretches and the wrinkles can be better eliminated. In case you’re fighting both wrinkles and dilated pores, it is a good idea to try some anti aging skin treatments that include orange oil. It has a soothing, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic effect, helpfully reducing pores while also destroying the bacteria within the skin.

In 90 percent of cases, the bad skin aspect comes from the accumulated dead cells at the superior part of the tissue. Using peel off masks and tonic lotions as anti aging skin treatments can help eliminate the unpleasant skin blotches and the uneven aspect of the skin. Moreover, cucumber extract and tonics that contain it are helpful against puffy eyes, reducing the unhealthy aspect of the toxins accumulated in the tissues. Rinsing your face with mineral water and drinking enough liquids will help you eliminate the waste in the system. You have to remember that very often the skin condition reflects your entire health state!

Anti Aging Hormones

Advanced research has brought to light the fact that the human body starts showing sings of decay due to age, once the level of specific hormones gets lower. Studies proved that there are special substances secreted by the body which are specific to young age, theses are the so called anti aging hormones identified as the human growth hormone and melatonin. The two now make the basis of several anti aging treatments developed all over the world. Results have been incredible in terms of rejuvenation, but there are side effects that can not be ignored either.

Here are the good bits and the bad bits of anti aging hormones as they come exposed to the public. The most successful anti aging hormone is the human growth one, that is produced in high quantities by the body during childhood, adolescence and early adulthood. Then, the process is reversed and the body starts the downward path of existence. HGH brought increases bone condition to people who suffered from osteoporosis for instance, and it also brought a general revitalization of the body. This anti aging hormone is said to solve most of the sleep disorders associated with old age and provide relief for those who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease for instance.

Among other benefits of this anti aging hormone, we could mention the improvement of the kidney functions together with better blood circulation. But there are bad bits associated with its administration too. The use of HGH has created resistance to insulin in some cases which lead to diabetes. The general effect of this anti aging hormone treatment is the subject of a largely debated controversy, and scientists haven’t reached a conclusion so far. Many people wonder whether aging could be slowed or even eliminated if we managed to keep the level of HGH to the one specific at a young age.

Melatonin is the other anti aging hormone that is an included part of many treatments; the great properties associated with it are increased energy, improvement of mental faculties, stamina, alleviation of menopausal symptoms and so on. One important aspect related to the use of melatonin is the role it plays in the elimination of sleep disorders and insomnia; very often, an anti aging treatment has lots of chances to fail if there is not quality night rest. Some aspects of the melatonin use are still under scientific research, and we are far from hearing the final conclusion related to its administration for anti aging purposes.
